The European Youth Parliament in Bosnia and Herzegovina was founded in 2014. In 2016, the organisation received the status of a fully recognised National Committee in the international network of the European Youth Parliament.
The organisation started with its activities in Sarajevo, and later expanded into holding events in other cities like Zenica, Mostar, Banja Luka, Tuzla, Bihać and Jajce. Through different events, so far, the organisation has managed to actively engage over 3000 young people from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Mission of the European Youth Parliament Bosnia and Herzegovina is creating a platform for intercultural dialogue, volunteering, cultural engagement, encouragement of youth participation in social decision-making, as well as the work on social inclusion and the development of soft skills.
The Vision of the European Youth Parliament Bosnia and Herzegovina is becoming the main platform for raising awareness of young people about actively participating in decision making and active citizenship. We strive to create a balanced social community in which everyone can express their opinion and create civil initiatives.

EYP taught me how to think the unthinkable and that it was possible to accomplish the impossible. Above all else, that love born out of togetherness can change the world. Or at least, change many individual worlds.

EYP, purely by chance, helped me discover my passion for diplomacy. It thought me to trust my own abilities, and the abilities of others, and when I found myself in a position of leadership, it taught me that one does not lead alone, but together.
